DAY OF THE EVENT SCHEDULE

Saturday, March 1, 2008

 8:00 am

• Volunteers have access to Cole Center (Joseph Ertter).

• Volunteers sign-in; set up for student registration.

 9:00 am

• Check in, setting up of exhibits, and safety/regulations inspection.

• Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. for students to set up their projects. Projects must be set up by 11:00 a.m. Please arrive early enough to allow sufficient time to completely set-up your exhibit before 11:00am.

• Each student will be given a free lunch voucher at the registration table. This voucher will allow you to get a slice of pizza and juice.

 11:00 am

• Judging will promptly begin at 11:00 am. and will continue until 12:30 pm.

• During judging, no one is permitted in the Judging Area but the participants, judges and volunteers.

12:45 pm

• Projects will be opened to public viewing 12:45 pm and 1:45 pm

• Judges may perform necessary re-judging. (Students NOT required at projects)

• Tabulation of the results and calculation of the winners.

• Preparation of the Certificates.

• Lunch will be served for students between 12:45 pm and 1:30 pm

1:30 pm

• Students may now dismantle their projects (wait for the announcement).

• Judging Area will be re-designed for the AwardsCeremony 1:30 pm -2:15pm

2:15 pm

• Awards Ceremony starts at 2:15 pm.

• Distribution of Certificates and Awards
